READ: LUKE 7:1-10

THEME VERSE(S): *Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap (Galatian 6:7)*

Why should we avoid playing games with God? This is because God sees right through the games that we play. The truth is that we will never be able to deceive God. There is a Law of Sowing and Reaping which God has put in place. It works for everyone born of a woman. First, you reap what you’ve sown. Second, you reap where you’ve sown. Third, you reap more than you’ve sown.

Remember that God knows everything there is to know about you. He knows all of our deepest and darkest secrets. There is nothing He does not know about you. The truth is that God does not take you serious if you do not take Him serious. Even the devil does not take you serious if you are not serious with God and His Kingdom. When you stand firm for God, He will stand firm for you. God is dedicated to those who are dedicated to Him.

You will reap what you sow in the Kingdom of God. Do not deny the inevitable. Godliness and ungodliness will never mix. You cannot live for yourself or the flesh and live to please God at the same time. If you sow to the flesh, you will reap corruption or destruction. If you sow to the Spirit, you will reap everlasting life. Decide what you want to reap or harvest and sow your seed.

You sow to the Spirit when you do God’s work and refuse to conform to this world. You cannot secure God’s attention unless you are serious with God. In fact, God does not do serious business with people who are not spiritually serious. God honours those who honour Him. God is committed to those who are committed to Him. The place you give to God in your life determines the place He gives to you in His Kingdom. DON’T PLAY GAMES WITH GOD.

May your work and service to humanity and in the Kingdom of God speak for you and become an altar of remembrance before God in Jesus Name.
